Boehringer Ingelheim Fonds

The Boehringer Ingelheim Fonds is a foundation for basic medical research. This legally independent, non-profit organisation grants fellowships to particularly talented PhD scientists and medical students around the globe, and organises the twice-yearly International Titisee Conferences for leading researchers in the life sciences.


Geschwister Boehringer Ingelheim Stiftung für Geisteswissenschaften

The Siblings Boehringer Ingelheim Foundation for the Humanities (Geschwister Boehringer Ingelheim Stiftung für Geisteswissenschaften), also a non-profit foundation, was established in 1956. Each year, it awards approximately 150 grants to help cover the printing costs of scientific works, in particular dissertations and habilitation theses, in the fields of linguistics and literary studies, art, history, and philosophy.
