Mainz PhD student prizes.
Every year, the Boehringer Ingelheim Foundation endows four prizes to PhD students at the University of Mainz, Germany, one each for biology, chemistry, medicine, and pharmacy. The 3,000-euro award honours excellent final theses. The awardees are selected by the University of Mainz and are presented with the prizes at the university's annual “Dies academicus” event.
In 2022, the prizes went to Dr Nazzareno Dominelli (biology), Christian Czysch (chemistry), Dr Fabian Barthels (pharmacy), and Dr Alina Lauer (medicine).
